One of the most common complaints I hear from women is that they don’t like their butts. Butts seem to be a real sore spot, no pun intended, for many women. Luckily, your butt can be reshaped in a flash with the proper moves.
Super-Hottie-Face-Doctor-Guy, AKA Dr. Oz, just uploaded a really terrific video on his site RealAge.com. It’s a five minute workout that will lift, shape, tone and decrease your butt in no time and it kicks butt, if you’ll pardon the expression.
The workout is designed (and led in the video) by celebrity personal trainer Joel Harper.
If he looks familiar, it’s probably because you’ve seen him on Oprah and all of the morning news programs. He also wrote all the personal workout programs for Dr. Oz’s “YOU” series books and is Dr. Oz’s own personal trainer.
The workout is part of Dr. Oz’s new video series, “Fit in 5″, which focuses on one body part per video. This is a great way to get a really terrific workout for each body part and also to fit that target work into a high intensity workout.
The butt workout consists of a combination of side knee lifts,leg raises, pulses,cross knee lifts, cross leg point and flex, cross knee lifts, cross leg stretches and a quick stretch and cool down. The moves are done one right after the other, without a rest, which makes them fast and super-effective.
Harper recommends doing the workout every other day, letting your butt muscles recover for 48 hours between workouts.
